Going Viral in the Wrong Way
If the young lady in question knew that her unruly behavior was being recorded, perhaps she wouldn’t have gone that far. After the video went viral online, the lady was later identified as Shauntae Heard.

The backlash from online viewers of the video was so bad that Heard was compelled to offer a public apology for her behavior towards Husu.

Though the earnings may be a lifesaver for some of these street performers, a handful of them are just keen on practicing their craft. It is not easy to tell what economic category the adroit Husu falls into, but it is clear he’s talented.
I Don’t Like the Piano Man!
In the TikTok video, Heard was seen approaching Husu’s stand on two different occasions in a single evening.

In the first instance, there were a handful of spectators clustered around the performer, listening to him play “Piano Man” by Billy Joe on his keyboard. Heard and a couple of friends were passing by the performance cluster.
A Minor Key Disruption
During this first encounter, Heard decided to reach through the spectators to press down on some keys on Husu’s board. However, since it seemed like a lighthearted act by a random passerby, the performer continued playing unperturbed.

Not surprisingly, two of the spectators told Heard off for her disruptive behavior, but she simply shuffled away to rejoin her fun-seeking friends.
The Second Time Around
The final straw for Heard came later that evening, the very act that sparked outrage among online viewers of the recorded incident.

While returning from wherever Heard and her friends had been to that night, they found Husu still playing his keyboard. This time, there were just a few spectators listening to him, some of them taking in his song from a distance.
Heard Takes Liberties Again
On her return trip, Heard took some time to size up Husu as he played. She could be seen in short black summer wear and a pair of glasses clutching her purse.

Looking tipsy from a night out with her friends, she reached out again for Husu’s keyboard and tried pressing down on it. Unfortunately for the musician, Heard leaned in a bit too heavily.
The Stand Comes Crashing Down
Almost instantaneously, the makeshift stand supporting Husu’s keyboard gave way and the instrument crashed to the pavement.

With his performance clearly disrupted, Husu stared in disbelief, mouthing what sounded like “What is wrong with you?” to the culpable lady. Feeling awkward, Heard reached down into Husu’s tip bucket under the pretense of tipping.
Snatching Money Out of Husu’s Tip Bucket
As the standoff between Husu and the lady unraveled, the video shows Heard’s friends laughing out loud in the background.

Heard picked up a few bills from Husu’s tip bucket and ran off as the performer and other people around yelled after her. Standing up from where he had been sitting, Husu stared on in utter disbelief.
Showing Support for the Distraught Performer
A couple of wellwishers are seen in the video trying to help Husu set up his ruined musical gear and ask if he is okay. Others who saw Heard’s unacceptable behavior booed her.

A number of the spectators spoke encouraging words to Husu to lift his spirits. In fact, the performer would later reveal that one of them handed him all the cash in his wallet to help compensate for his loss.
Unsurprisingly, the Video Goes Viral
Andrew Husu would later post a recording of the unruly heckler on his TikTok, @theandrewshoe. The video went viral and has over 3.2 million views.

Of course, Husu didn’t know the lady’s name when posting. However, with the help of other TikTok users Heard was identified and named, and was called out massively on all her social media platforms.
Too Late For Apologies
Shauntae Heard has since issued a public apology to Husu, but the public shaming has been so heavy that she had to cry out.

According to Heard, folks have criticized her on all social media platforms and have even gone as far as texting her family. The graceful performer, on the other hand, has accepted her apology for the terrible behavior.
